Directorate of Veterinary Services and Supplies
Provides veterinary services, disease surveillance and control, animal health management, veterinary public health, laboratory services, and regulation of veterinary supplies.
Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development
Promotes sustainable fisheries management, fish production, aquaculture development, fish processing, and conservation of aquatic resources.
Directorate of Extension and Pastoralist Development
Provides extension services, technical training, community outreach, and support to pastoralist communities to improve livestock and fisheries productivity.
Directorate of States and Special Projects Coordination
Coordinates Ministry activities with State Ministries of Animal Resources and Fisheries and oversees the implementation of special projects and strategic initiatives.
Research and Development Institution
National Veterinary Research and Development Centre
The Centre serves as the Ministry’s primary research institution and supports innovation, scientific research, disease investigation, diagnostics, and the development of technologies that improve livestock and fisheries production.
