Ministry Conducts Training for Community Animal Health Workers

More than 120 Community Animal Health Workers have completed a specialized training program organized by the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries.

The training focused on disease identification, vaccination procedures, livestock nutrition, and emergency response mechanisms for animal disease outbreaks.

Participants were drawn from several states and are expected to serve as frontline support providers for livestock-owning communities.

The ministry highlighted the critical role of community animal health workers in expanding access to veterinary services, especially in remote and underserved areas.
